Killing Time in Btwn

So, today, I woke up at 1ish in the afternoon, lol.  Why?
I was watching Cinderella III.  Why?
It caught my eye.  How?
YouTube.  LOL

I would have to say Cinderella III beats Mulan II.  Mulan II was a bit bland around the edges, flat on animation, etc.  Cinderella III probably used to much digital layering, causing the actual cell animations to look too “clean” on the CG backdrops, but it was nicer, and I did enjoy the story a lot more.

Today, I’ve been watching animated movies, I suppose.  I started out today with Ratatouille by Pixar.  I really liked it actually — very clever, and cute.   Since I was watching it online (not going to say where), there was bad buffering since there are three computers using the internet.  So in between buffering, I did more productive things:

Like cleaning.
You know…
Did the dishes…
Finished up the laundry…
Tidied up the place.
Keeping things clean.

God, I sound anal, don’t I?  LOL
Well it needs to be done.
I refuse to let a home that I’m paying for to turn to into a rat pack.

Right now, I’m about to watch Bee Movie.  I’m curious how that was.  So we’ll  see afterwards.

Also… I’m installing Warcraft III & the expansion because I feel like playing it again.  Unfortunately, I will have to start at the beginning again because I deleted my old save files when I had to reformat my hard drive.  So, I might play that when I finish the movie on top of laundry…

ORRR…. Play Phoenix Wright.  My DS was dead.  I’m charging it right now.  I haven’t touched it in about more than a month.  At least I can walk around the house to do things while I’m playing.

LOL…
Just on here to waste some blogging time.

Be back later!

Wow, Talk ‘Bout Busy

Man, I’ve been doing a lot of cleaning for the past two days. I’m not done either. I’m going to probably finish up tomorrow or at MOST by New Years Eve.

Well, I’ve definitely been productive, I’ll say.

Anyway, I hope everyone’s holiday was fun and exciting, or relaxing!  I had a better Christmas this year surprisingly, even though the holiday season seemed a little bland.  It was lively enough within my tight social circle between friends and family.  The group has only gotten smaller over the past couple of years, but it’s all good.

The New Year is coming up.  That day might be a little bland too.  It’s one of the reasons why I’ve been cleaning.  I wanted to start the year with a fresh apartment and I’m definitely going to try to buy some art to put up — framed movie posters, etc… a COUPLE of tasteful video game items here and there.   Make it look geek/nerd savvy… lol.  I saw a framed Pulp Fiction print AND Heroes print that I really really really really wanted… lol.  Big and pretty. ^_^  ((Guess what my Christmas gifts to myself are… lol)).

I had a very tech-savvy Christmas. 90% of my presents were electronic.

- Canon EOS Rebel XTi 400D (digital SLR)
- Canon Pixma MP610 (a 25ish-pounder photo printer, lol)
- A 4GB flash drive
- An 8″ digital photo frame
- Two shirts (video game related)

You can only assume I’ve been having a blasty-blast.
Tomorrow, I’m going to finish up on laundry and tidy up around the apartment and the bedroom.  Just wanting to keep things spic-and-span.  I dunno where this cleaning spree came from, but I guess it’s just part of growing up and learning your responsibilities.  When no one else does them, you can’t just complain… sometimes you just gotta do them yourself.  Just makes you the better person in the end I suppose.

As far as YouTube goes, that’s been a lot of fun.  I love being part of the community, even if it’s small around me.  It’s quite enjoyable.  I’m not SUCCESSFUL.  I’m not trying to be.  The only people that matter are my friends and the people who are, I guess I’ll call, consistent viewers//YT buddies.  Video editing has a definite learning curve to it, but A LOT of fun when you get the hang of it… I’m talking about stepping out of the circle of just iMovie and Windows Movie Maker.

I’ve been teaching myself Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects whenever I can get to it just to fiddle around (without manuals and tutorials unless there was absolutely something I wanted to learn right away).  Exploring is exciting.  I’m very gadgety — pressing buttons, flipping switches, etc.  It never wears down.

Even with my graphics software, I’m always learning something new.  Thus far making my job more enjoyable. lol

Hmm, it’s a quarter ’til 2 in the morning and I’m not exactly tired.  I might pop on the DS and play some Phoenix Wright (3).  I love that game.  Maybe I’ll draw a bit also, lol.

Well, everybody!  Happy Holidays!

You shall hear from me soon!

P.S.
