Chewy Chips Ahoy! are Ze Bomb, Yo!

I’m at work right now.

For some reason the first cookie I eat tastes like someone had put lipstick on my teeth. It’s kinda disgusting. I guess the taste isn’t compatible with Coke. -_-”

I have a headache at the moment, so I’ve decided to blog it away if possible. I get out of the office today earlier than usual, so it’s all good.

Tomorrow morning I have to get up at 5:30-6:00am because I’m going with Adam to the Anaheim Convention Center for the Disneyland Martial Arts Festival (and open tournament). Carey, our roommate, will be joining us.

It was held at the Grand Ballroom last year. I guess they expect it to be bigger this year so they’re holding it at the center. I’m probably gonna be there until around 2pm-ish taking photos and whatnot. I don’t know. I know we’re gonna be exhausted by the time we get home, unfortunately. Also, we’ll be picking Kuma up afterwards since he’s been away from home for a week.

On Sunday, Adam and I will have our I.O.U. Valentine’s make-up date since we worked on the 14th, etc. I dunno what we’re gonna end up doing. He has a surprise for me. Or so he claims, lol. Last minute stuff.

My word, why am I so light-headed? I’m probably on a mental overload from all the stuff I’ve been doing this last week. I’ve been working on a lot of projects between regular work, Nexus Gaming, and self-studying, I think my brain’s about to explode. I’ve been running dry on inspiration lately and my creativity clock isn’t quite ticking either. Sometimes you’ll just see me staring at my screen or at something that’s happening in front of me. It’s because I’m trying to find ideas of what to design next. *shrug*

After doing some “inspiration searching” on the interwebs, I realize that a LOT LOT LOT of graphic artists/designers/illustrators use swirly curlies. Overdone to the point of regurgitation. What’s so great about swirls? (Besides the fact it’s pretty much universal for what they are). Even the most grungiest piece of art has swirls or something swirly. Everything has swirls: minimum to the max, like how everything–dead or alive–in Super Mario Bros. has eyes. Next to swirls, paint splatters are a bit over done also.

Besides that, I would honestly have to say I love the retro style when it comes to vectoring. I don’t know why. I like the “flat look” other than something that has true depth to it (unless I had true perspective of course). *shrug* We’ll see where I find my niche.

Come onnnnn, guys. I guess it’s up to me to find something new.

I was looking through my video folder (which takes up a good 60GB on my HDD (someone’s gonna have to buy an external HDD soon -_-)) and I found a video of Kuma that I hadn’t posted on here except on my Shiba blog, which I haven’t updated in a short while. Kuma tends to have these bursts of playfulness. One minute he’s on the floor relaxing and chewing away at his favorite bone, and then not so longer after, he’s doing figure-8’s around the apartment, supposedly chasing himself or throwing tennis balls all over the place and chasing those.

In this video he’s having one of his bursts and having quite a blast… with a tennis ball container. It’s kinda weird but it’s fun to watch.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to relaxing, tomorrow my plans include semi-working at the Martial Arts Festival and Sunday, I want to have fun with Adam!
