This Gamer Weekend

So, this weekend is a”big event”, correct? I mean, only for the U.S. gamers and consumers who were patient enough for it’s release without having to go online and rape imports from sites like Play-Asia.com. A lot of game stores will (or should) have lines out the door.

Super Smash Brawl is coming out on the 9th (Sunday) and most stores should be having a midnight sale. I’m going to one for sure. I’m also competing in a SSB Melee tournament to win a copy for myself… because you know, it’s technically free. I might win though. If not, I hope to. I’m the only girl who’s signed up, but thank God I know the guys, so I won’t be too uncomfortable.

Next to that, win or lose, I’m getting myself a copy. I still have my pre-order. So, I will be playing probably all night if I’m not too knocked out.

However, several hours before this tournament slash sale, Adam and I will be getting a nice VIP tour at the Blizzard HQ down here in So Cal. We’ll be able to test out most of their upcoming games (like SC2 (Starcraft 2)). I hopewe get lots of swag. ^_^ Because, you know, we all like swag. So that’s Saturday’s plans. It’ll last before 4:00PM supposedly, so we’ll see how that goes. I hope I’m not too tired before the competition.

Next to that, I have no laptop… well I do, it’s just dormant. I don’t have anything except fro Photoshop CS2 on the desktop here in the office. I had to remake something just now on Photoshop that was originally done on Illustrator. I had to take out a few elements, so it looks quite similar but at the minimal.

It seems like since my Mac’s given up on life, I’ve been doing nothing else but moping around online between WordPress and Flickr, and of course my e-mail. I can’t really do much else at work. At home, I usually entertain myself in many ways possible — video games, Kuma, drawing, eating, going for a walk, going to the dog park, going for a drive, watching a movie, etc etc.

Pardon my French, but at the moment I’m ass-bored.
