Ramble Rabble Rabble!
March 6, 2008

So I’m drinking this stuff at the moment as I type: Enviga Sparkling Green Tea from Coca-Cola and Nestle. I’m a green tea fan girl, so when I saw this sitting in the cooler at Wal-Mart, I just had to get it. I don’t know what the deal is with Coca-Cola making everything carbonated, but I would have to say that this stuff isn’t half-bad. If you like sweetened green tea, I suggest you try it.
As of what I’ve read, Enviga is supposed to be some calorie-burning soda. I mean, it says on the can “The Calorie Burner”. *shrug* It’s supposed to “invigorate my metabolism to gently increase calorie burning.” Invigorate = Enviga… ah, I get it now. -_-” CLEVER, GUYS!
Mind my sarcasm… lol.
Anyway, update on MacBook? It’s… still at the store. I’m assuming they’ll be getting the HDD today and they might install it today, which probably means I’ll be getting a call later this afternoon or tomorrow morning, or maybe I’ll just happen to find out myself via their support site and make another round trip to Victoria Gardens. Knowing my luck, something stupid will probably happen in the ㅑㅇㄴㅅ로 ㅐㄹ ㅅㄱ문ㄷ갸ㅜㅎ ㅡㅛ ㅇㅁㅅㅁ…. ????!?!??!??!? Ok… I don’t speak or write in Korean, lol; I just happen to be using a keyboard that’s Korean compatible (along with the desktop).
Of course, when I don’t happen to be looking at the screen that happens… And wtf did I just type anyway? *goes to online translator* …. LMAO… Ok…
translates verbatim via Babelfish.Altavista.com into
“The it bit with the, kya $$ln”
How does the $ fit in there? LOL!
AS I WAS SAYING… Knowing my luck, something stupid will probably happen in the midst of transferring my data onto the new HDD. One of the Mac guys will probably tell me, “Uh, just to let you know, we had some problems getting all the data we had backed up from your previous visit onto your new HDD. It doesn’t seem like you lost a lot of your files, but you might want to check just to make sure. There are kiosks over there. Feel free to plug it in and turn it on if you need to.”
Can’t you tell I’ve been there many times for problems and not necessarily to buy anything? HAHA! I guess that gives me a right to smack Mr. Galen if I need to! ^_^
Anyhoo… I swear, I don’t think I’ve ever blogged this often even when I had my laptop with me. Funny. I used to blog up to three times a day back in high school (yeah, feel free to call me a loser; I’d call myself one, it’s ok). Nowadays, I blog every other day to a few days in between. I’ve kinda kept a lot of things going on in my life on the down-low since a lot of the “enemies” read my stuff. I know, I know, why make it public? Well, I, for one, enjoy public blogging, nor do I give a damn to what people may think or say post reading my blog. I never ask anyone to read it. It’s for me. It’s my rant-site.
Hell, I’m ranting right now.
Rant rant rant!

[Random] This illustrates how I was at times I didn’t have my MacBook at work with me — which was actually quite a lot more days than any person should go through at work, lol. If only you had any idea how slow all the desktops at work are. When I had to run Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CS on this desktop that I’m using right now, saving my work was nail-biting. The save progress bar would travel at incredible speeds up to 50 bytes an hour! And, how, technology at its best! Take THAT BitTorrent!
Ah, don’t worry about me whining about UI. I’m not hating on PCs either. I just, like all Mac users, love my Mac, LOL. Hey, just like Vista, Mac OS X (and iPods) have their issues also that bother the shittakes out of me… something we know as “Cyclic redundancy error” … Oh yes. Those of you who have owned one of the first versions of the iPods with the click wheels know what I’m talking about. Macs do it too. It’s a lovely pain in the ass. I’ve dealt with it enough.
So, instead of giving into the iPod Touch or iPods in general, I ended up getting myself a Zune, which I love a whole bunches. I got the Halo one just because it was cool-looking. I’m not a fan of Halo like I was before, so, eh, it’s nice to have. I really like the UI to the new update they had. Here’s a picture.

It’s really nice I think. However, I suppose it’s the graphic designer screaming in me: “GIANT SANS SERIF! YAY! … CUSTOM WALLPAPER!? YAYYYYY!!!!! MINIMALISTIC?! YAYYY!” I think you get the deal. It’s like typography on a screen for me. Whereas iPods (sorry Pod fans) looks like iTunes regurgitated… artistically, lol.
But yeah, anyway, owning a Zune makes me hate owning a Mac in the back of my head because Zunes aren’t compatible with Mac OS X or iTunes for the matter.
Zune + iTunes
=
Microsoft Jokes
I don’t think Microsoft intends to make it compatible ever, so there are very few third-parties that are working on breaking into it to work for all those Zune-Mac fans. I am one. I would pay to have it work.
Wow, talk about rambling. I am surely rambling.
Fallen asleep yet? Yeah? I’m sorry. LOL
Ok, back to “work”
